Android Development Day II
Round one of Android Develepment Day was a huge success, so we're doing it again. Once again, bring your computer, cable, and Android device and let's help each other hack some Android apps. Almost everybody left with Hello, Android running (and some got quite a lot further) so start thinking about what you'd like to do next. You can dive right into that project you've always wanted to do or just move on to the next levels of tutorial. If you need ideas or have ideas to share, post them here.
NOTE: This time, we're assuming that people already have the Android SDK installed and have successfully written and run the equivalent of the "Hello, Android" application. If you haven't made it this far these links should help you out:
As usual, your search engine of choice will most likely provide you with many, many more options. If you get stuck ask for help here, contact someone directly, or just show up at a weekly meeting. Somebody should be able to help you get on track.
INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN: The Kershaw residence was an excellent place for ADD1 and they have graciously offered to host ADD2 also, for which we are very grateful. They have warned us (and some of us have seen) that their driveway can be a smidge perilous in the snow. We are still working out an alternate location in the event that it snows before the event. Watch this space for updates.
UPDATE: ADD2 will be held in the Old Laundry Building Room 205 on Vassar College campus.

It sounds like it is VERY important that you get a parking permit as you enter campus. You have been warned.
FURTHER UPDATE: Joe has kindly created a page with resources for Android Dev Day.
