Slash Root and yet another ADD

I want to send a belated thanks out to our friends over at Slash Root Cafe in New Paltz. They hosted our regular weekly doing in their space last week. We got to meet new people, try out some vegan cookies, learn about how to use Python to abuse an in-house phone system. We also spawned what will likely be an entertaining competition. (If you have any skills or a strong desire which you think will be useful in arming our helicopter, get in touch with me or Loki.)

We have also started discussions about putting on a Batalla Verde (site in Spanish), and perhaps attending or participating in the New Paltz Regatta or the Artists' Soapbox Derby in Kingston, and a couple of us are taking the recently offered MITx Circuits and Electronics course.
