A hacker / maker con in Providence RI, May 23-25. Definite focus on the maker side of things, with help from AS220 (art/hacker space in Rhode Island, look them up!)
I'm peripherally involved in con planning (and am speaking at it) and it's being run by friends of mine.
Providence is only 3 hours away.
Join us! Hopefully it's a good time for all (and if it TRULY sucks, there's plenty of stuff to see in Providence and Boston isn't far off)
I'm going to be too busy to try to organize any sort of hotel sharing (but that doesn't mean someone else shouldn't) and I can't offer rides (I'm helping at another con in Boston the 3 days before Quahogcon so I'm making it one long trip).
