I'm trying to get the Squidwrench name out there, so I created a facebook ad for us. It will target people within 50 miles of Poughkeepsie that have at least one of these interests: arduino, art, building things, collaboration, electronics, hacking, hudson valley, ieee, inventing, learning, learning something new, linux, makers, making things, networking, sharing, tinkering or ubuntu. It will target those who are not already in the group, so you won't see it on your facebook pages unless you haven't joined Squidwrench on FB. I am running the ad for $50 worth, so I have no idea how long it will be up, but I figure it's a start to getting our name out there.
Any other ideas for publicity would be greatly appreciated.
