I had to go to a doctors appt in Kingston today, so on the way back I took the long way through New Paltz so I could stop at the materials exchange. Picked up a few random transformers, a photo resistor, and some other stuff to figure out what it is.
While in New Paltz I stopped at Slash Root for coffee, my wife asked them about classes/meetings that are held there and in the rambly conversation the owner mentioned there are no hardware hacking meetings but he would like to have some. So if someone can contact them, it might be another possibility.
Sweet. I was out there a couple/few weeks ago but Justin wasn't around. I'll have to drop in again when I'm out that way.
We're having our weekly meeting at Slash Root cafe 7pm on the 28th... I just called and left them a message to confirm.
Once confirmed, that's the plan.
