Micro WiFi-N via RTL8188CUS chip

Got this cheap $8 Wireless N adapter:

Then when lsusb shows it:

Bus 001 Device 107: ID 05e3:0608 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
Bus 001 Device 108: ID 0bda:8176 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188CUS 802.11n WLAN Adapter
 

I can follow these instructions to install it and it's connected to my WiFi access point:

Problem is that I have to plug it in to a powered hub, not sure if this means my Pi is broken or the cheepie WiFi adapter.

Bottom line is that a RTL8188CUS should work with the Pi just run the script at the above post and it's easy as Pi!
