As promised, here are a few movies I think are worth viewing for one reason or another.
Terrible:
- Undefeatable
- Space Mutiny
- Megashark vs. Giant Octopus (this one will likely be a party at my house this spring/summer)
Awesome:
- Six-String Samurai
- Terror of Tiny Town
- Meet the Feebles
Beyond a Kurt Russel retrospective I've got plenty more movies within arm's reach and I'm not talking about stuff on a RAID. Below are a few favorites that I'm reasonably sure few have seen.
[All the following are available in HD just because I'm that kind of guy]
Awesome:
Terrible:
If everyone can stoop to viewing standard def content there's plenty more choices available in my library and of those I think Grandma's Boy is a must-see ("I look up in the tree and there's the king of the f'in jungle."). I've also got a small shrine to the works of Stephen Chow, he of Shaolin Soccer, Kung-Fu Hustle and CJ-7. There's also plenty of "serious" movies if the urge hits anyone, like the 5hr director's cut of Until the End of the World that will melt your face off.
John L. has suggested a Kurt Russel Overload
-Big Trouble in Little China
and
-Death Proof
Back to back.
Prepare to be Russel'd... Kurtly.
Turns out there is a TV with VCR/DVD in the dining room where we had the expo last weekend. Feel free to bring along some awesome or terrible movies to show at the next expo.
And yes. Movie night ahoy!
Wild Zero.
Movie night?
I think drinking needs to happen to get through some of these.
Thank you thank you thank you
